Sieff Estate
The Sieff estate is a unique building of German Bauhaus architecture in the heart of Tel Mond. The villa was built in the 1930's for Lady Rebecca Sieff, founder and Life President of the World WIZO Organization.
The villa, known also by the name "Hadar House", was designed by architect Richard Kaufman. The 500 square meters house (not including patios and utility rooms), is built on more than 10 dunam, overlooking the breathtaking view of the Sharon.
The building, to be declared a preservation site has two stories, and includes lounges guest rooms, large bedrooms, a kitchen, storage rooms, a two room service apartment, opulent patios and a few covered parking spaces. The grounds include a pool, a tennis court, and a "sports building" with a table tennis hall, a sauna and storerooms. Some of the grand Ficus trees near the house are 10 meters high.
The villa underwent extensive renovation in the 1970's, and is now up for sale.
